Hmmm, I was buying the game for partly the singleplayer and the multiplayer. If L4D and console matchmaking tells me anything is that they never work right, ever.
I think I shall wait and see until after release to get the game now.

Wait, what? L4D has plenty of dedicated servers and mods. Though I hate that they didn't have the server window like CS:S and etc. do by default, but it -is- there. Just gotta go to the consol and type "openserverbrowser" or w/e the command was. (Been ages since I've had to use it or even think of it.)
A recent patch made is so when you attempted to start a lobby on a dedicated server, if you didn't find one straight away it went straight to starting a local without even saying a thing.

why should pc gamers get dedicated servers? is there something I don't know about?
Is it because you want to modify the game? PC games are cheaper than console games anyway, and yet you seem to want MORE for your money
Because we want out 50 player servers. Seriously, we don't want to be limited to seriously ****** game limits, just because a console player is ok with 5v5 and a bit of lag.
